Marcon is a metal fabrication company invested in the advancement of technology and people. We engineer complex structural solutions in-house with uncompromising integrity and we fabricate high-performance metal products with speed and precision. Guided by our will to innovate everything we do, we specialize in dynamic bridge components and contribute to the construction and rehabilitation of large North American transportation projects annually.
We Facilitate Movement.
A Marcon structural bearing is engineered to endure the forces imposed upon large infrastructure. As a pivotal performance component to bridges and buildings, we are unwavering in our commitment to a design that performs and a product that is resilient. Our custom-fabricated solutions can be done to your budget and timeline and our range of Marcon-made elastomeric, lead rubber and pot bearings offer superior maintainability.
How a structure spans the test of time is dependent on how it is engineered to manage minor and major fluctuations in movement. Marcon meticulously machines expansion joint systems to meet project specifications and offers a diversity of finger joints, strip seals and support fittings to handle expected changes in load and temperature and to withstand unexpected seismic events.
Marcon fabricates standard and customized protective railings and posts to guard movement atop elevated structures. Our modern robotic welding technology enables consistent, high-quality welds and accommodates high-volume production. Constructed and installed to conform to your structural design, we ensure all guard rail systems are code compliant, on-time and on-budget.
We Manipulate Metal.
Marcon hosts the latest generation of vertical and horizontal CNC mills and lathes. Our skilled machinists are equipped with leading automation technology and supported by comprehensive operator training. Using a wide range of tooling capacities, we are able to machine large-scale production efficiently and small-scale customization with precision.
Equipped with high definition and bevel head plasma, laser and water jet cutting technologies, Marcon is capable of cutting metal, plastic and rubber compounds. Our equipment has been carefully selected to accommodate a wide range of material handling and our outputs are assured by rigorous inspection and oversight programs.
Marcon’s fabrication facilities are outfitted with dedicated areas to accommodate large 3 dimensional throughputs. We have invested in advanced CNC-controlled plasma, laser and mechanical cutting technologies and possess modern 3 dimensional forming and printing capabilities not found in conventional metal shops.
